ABOUT ME

A passionate creator of seascape paintings that unapologetically explore texture, colour and elements of abstraction.

 

I work in acrylics, typically building on heavily textured foundations with many layers of paint and completed with subtle glazes to produce work that has impact and hopefully transports the viewer to their own ‘sense of place’.

 

I strive to create bold and colourful paintings inspired by 20+ years I’ve spent at sea in a small yacht, sailing more that 60,000 nautical miles around the UK + Ireland, the Mediterranean, Africa and the Caribbean, including six trans-Atlantic crossings.
